Abstract


There are evidences available that good oral hygiene can reduce the school absenteeism and improve the educational outcomes. Various illnesses affecting the children can be effectively prevented by the inexpensive and non-technical way of oral hygiene. School children are the most effective agents of behavior change, so that they will take the good practices into their adulthood. AIM - The aim of this study is to assess knowledge, attitude, and practices towards oral health among middle school children (5-12 yrs) in Chennai schools functioning under corporation of Chennai.
