Ruptured Primary Ovarian Abscess. A case report

SOWMIYA SREE

Abstract

Primary sterile ovarian abscess cases
are rare in the literature. Of all the complications
that can result from PID, intra
abdominal rupture of tubo ovarian abscess
or primary ovarian abscess are life
threatening. The longer the delay in operative
treatment, greater is the mortality.
We describe an interesting case of 23-
year-old unmarried girl with ruptured
ovarian abscess.
