Metastatic malignant melanoma to the breast in a male - A case report.

Abstract


Abstract : Metastatic breast tumours are rare however, malignant melanoma is one of the primary tumours most commonly reported to metastasize to the breast. Among these, the primary tumours typically associated with  metastasis to the breast are cutaneous melanomas. We    present, herein, a case of solitary metastasis to the right breast from malignant melanoma of the left thumb. This case report aims to increase awareness of the need to establish treatment strategies based on an understanding of the                etiology and patho physiology of malignant melanomas.
