A rare case of late onset cystic lymphangioma neck

Abstract

Abstract : Late onset cystic lymphangioma is rare. They
represent sequestered lymphatics that retain their embryonic
growth potential.46 year old female patient presented with
swelling of the left side of neck-2 months duration. It was a
soft cystic fluctuant swelling in the posterior triangles of neck,
nontender noncompressible, smooth surface and well defined
borders.Usg neck showed abscess. CECT and MRI neck
showed lymphangioma which was confirmed by
FNAC.Surgical excision was done.HPE showed cystic
lymphangioma.Patient is now on follow up Keyword :late
