Secondary Abdominal Pregnancy: A Case Report

Abstract


A case of secondary abdominal pregnancy in a 26 year old female gravida 3 para 2 live 2presented with complains of acute lower abdomen pain and urinary retention. Ultrasonography revealed a viable abdominal pregnancy at 14 weeks gestational age. Emergency laparotomy done. The maternal outcome was favourable. This case is presented to highlight that the treatment for abdominal pregnancy is ultimately surgery.
