Spontaneous hemoperitoneum and pelvic hematoma-warfarin induced - managed conservatively

Abstract


Spontaneous Hemoperitoneum is a rare adverse effect of Warfarin therapy. The case reported here is a woman of reproductive age group, sterilised, presented with pelvic hematoma and hemoperitoneum, managed   conservatively. Before any intervention proper clinical,  haematological, radiological evaluations are necessary for confirmation of diagnosis. This case is presented here for its rarity.
