A rare case of silent perforation of uterus by invasive mole following partial mole

Abstract


Invasive mole is condition which follows molar pregnancy such as complete or partial hydatidform mole and invades the wall of the uterus. 28yrs old women P2L2A2  presented with history of evacuation of molar pregnancy and with HPE report of partial mole before 2 months. She  presented with irregular bleeding per Vaginum on and off. After admission she had silent perforation of uterus hence total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salphingo   oopherectomy done. She had micro metastasis to lungs. She was started on chemotherapy. Patient received 6 cycles of EMACO regimen and was followed. Her hCG level returned to normal limits.
