DIFFUSE LARGE B CELL LYMPHOMA OF LARGE INTESTINE - A CASE REPORT
Abstract
45 year old female presented to our department with history of mass in the right iliac fossa for two months duration without any obstructive symptoms. Examination revealed 10-8 cm mobile mass present in the right iliac fossa. No hepatospleenomegaly. Contrast enhanced CT abdomen showed a non enhancing circumferential growth in the ceacal wall. Colonoscopy revealed an ulceroproliferative lesion in the ceacum. Biopsy reported as Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma. Patient was treated with right hemicolectomy and the HPE report confirmed the diagnosis. Post operative adjuvant chemotherapy (cyclophosphamide, hydroxydaunorubicin, oncovin, predisolone) given. Patient doing well in the follow up period.
