A rare case of acute intestinal obstruction- Right para dudenal hernia

Abstract


Among the numerous causes of SBO. para                                   duodenal hernias represent only 1 of the cases. Right paradudenal hernia has very rare compared to left side so far only 120 cases have been reported in the literature. it results from abnormal fixation of mesentry resulting in abnormal  positioning of small intestine. Usually presentation is variable ranging from asymptomatic to acute intestinal obstruction with gangrene.
