ATYPICAL PROPTOSIS - A CASE REPORT

ANURADHA P

Abstract

Orbital Lymphomas are the commonest orbital malignancies in elderly patients. Lymphomas of orbit and orbital adnexa account for 1 percentage of non- Hodgkins lymphoma and 8 percentage of all extra nodal lymphomas. They commonly present as intraorbital mass, often superolaterally causing proptosis. Early surgical biopsy with adequate imaging studies is essential for early diagnosis and Radiation therapy effectively controls the local tumour. This case report describes orbital lymphoma of Non Hodgkin B cell type in a middle aged male.
