PLACENTA PERCRETA AS A CAUSE OF UTERINE RUPTURE-A CASE REPORT
Abstract
Uterine rupture due to placenta percreta
is very rare with an incidence of 1 in
5000 pregnancies. Placenta percreta is
the rarest form of placental abnormalities
with 5-7 incidence among all placenta
accreta cases. We are here with a case
of placenta percreta presented as spontaneous
uterine rupture with bladder injury.
Emergency total hysterectomy with
bladder rent repair was done. Patient
was revived with multiple transfusions.
Its being presented for its rarity.
