PLACENTA SUCCENTURIATA - PRESENTING AS ANTE PARTUM HEMORRHAGE

Abstract

The incidence of Ante Partum Hemorrhage
is 3 among hospital deliveries. The
incidence of Placenta Praevia is 0.5-1
among hospital deliveries. The incidence
of placenta succenturiata is 3. But the
incidence of placenta succenturiata presenting
as Ante Partum Hemorrhage is
rare. Here is a case report of a patient
who presented with clinical features of
Placenta Praevia as a cause for her Ante
Partum Hemorrhage. But the intraoperative
finding revealed Placenta Succenturiata
as the cause for Ante Partum
Hemorrhage.
