Abstract

Ellis Van Creveld syndrome is a rare genetic disorder of skeletal dysplasia characterized by post axial polydactyly, abnormalities of atrial septation (common atrium) occuring in 60 of cases, natal teeth, narrow thorax, short ribs and dysplastic fingernails. This rare condition is inherited as an autosomal recessive trait with variable expression. Here we present a case of Ellis Van Creveld syndrome for its rarity.
