A RARE CASE OF PERSISTENT GESTATIONAL TROPHOBLASTIC DISEASE WITH ARTERIOVENOUS MALFORMATION

Abstract


Gestational trophoblastic disease with  arteriovenous malformation of uterus is very rare and potentially life threatening condition and should be considered in patient who present with unexplained profuse genital  bleeding. An 18 year old female A1, presented with complain of spotting per vaginum for 2 months duration following   Dilatation and Curettage performed 4 months back.    Reevacuation confirmed vesicular mole and laboratory   investigation showed rising beta human chorionic   gonadotrophin levels ( beta HCG). Transvaginal sonography and Colour Doppler images showed arteriovenous  malformation. These data were consistent with persistent mole.
