RAMESH B

Abstract

osteoid osteoma a relatively frequent benign bone tumours .It is condition of late childhood adolesence and young adult occurs most commonly at appendicular  skeleton .the charecterisric feature of lesion is night pain which relieve with salicylates. Though complete surgical  excision is the gold standard treatment to prevent recurrence per cutaneous radiofrequency ablation is performed            nowdays .percutaneous radiofrequency ablation has its own limitations like its availability ,its use in doubtful diagnosis cases and it should not be used if lesion is very near to neurovascular bundle .Here we are presenting a simple method for precise excision of osteoid osteoma by Ct guided localisation .
