Pemphigus vulgaris during pregnancy - A rare case report

Abstract


Pemphigus vulgaris is an Autoimmune Disorder Auto antibody mediated intra epidermal blistering, characterised by loss of cohesion between epidermal cells .Pemphigus vulgaris during pregnancy is exceedingly rare, its a immune mediated bullous dermatosis, which during active phase is associated with infertility. Only 26 cases of Immuno pathologically proven cases have been reported. Here we report a case of pemphigus vulgaris , who conceived in active phase and treated with steroids, delivered a term AGA baby
