A RARE CASE OF CEREBELLOPONTINE ANGLE TUMOUR WITH PREGNANCY

Abstract


22 years old Mrs. X, Primi with term gestation, married since 5 years, long period of infertility with history of left cerebello pontine angle tumour operated 2 years back, now presented with residual tumour compressing brainstem and cerebellum causing hydrocephalus. Neurosurgeon           opinion was obtained. Since the patient cannot withstand vaginal delivery, she was taken for elective LSCS along with neurosurgery team with high risk consent. She delivered an alive term male baby of 2.9 kg weight. Post operative period was uneventful. On her 8th post operative day she was           underwent right ventriculoperitoneal shunt for hydrocephalus. Both Mother and baby are healthy
