Orbital lymphoma- an unusual presentation

RAJALAKSHMI S SELVARAJ

Abstract

Lymphomas of ocular adnexa account for nearly 1-2 percent of          non- Hodgkins lymphoma and 8 percent of all extra nodal lymphomas. Lymphomas are the commonest orbital malignancies in elderly patients. They commonly present as intraorbital mass, often superolaterally causing proptosis. Hence all elderly patients with a palpable orbital mass should be subjected to biopsy for diagnosis.
