SURGICAL MANAGEMENT OF CA HYPOPHARYNX ONGS PROCEDURE

Abstract


Hypopharynx includes pyriform fossa, post cricoid region, posterior pharyngeal wall. A 55 years old female was diagnosed to have Ca pyriform fossa (squamous cell carcinoma) with involvement of neck nodes. Patient underwent ONGs procedure which involves. Total       laryngopharyngectomy, with gastric pull up. patient            postoperatively functioned well and able to tolerate liquid and semisolid feeds.
