AN UNUSUAL PRESENTATION OF PENILE FRACTURE

Abstract


Penile fracture occurs when the erect penis is forcibly bent against resistance leading to a rupture of corpus cavernosum. PENILE FRACTURE ASSOCIATED WITH URETHRAL INJURY is unusual with incidence of 0 -3 IN ASIAN COUNTRIES. While evaluating penile fracture possibility of urethral injury must be kept in mind as its close proximity puts the urethra at risk. This is a case report of 35 year old male Patient diagnosed to have PENILE FRACTURE WITH URETHRAL INJURY who was successfully treated with PENILE EXPLORATION WITH TROCAR SPC. Post  operatively was uneventful with no voiding difficultly or erectile dysfunction and able to continue his sexual activity without any discomfort.
