X-linked hypophosphatemic rickets - A case report

Abstract


X linked hypophosphatemic rickets is the one of the rare causes of rickets with variable penetrance. Early diagnosis and treatment with oral phosphate, high doses of calcitriol is important to prevent progressive bowing of the long bones  during growth of the children.
