In 2018 the UHC service coverage index of India (SDG 3.8.1.) is 56. In India the proportion of population with house hold out-pocket health expenditure greater than 25%of total household expenditure or income is 3.9% and the proportion of population with house hold out-pocket health expenditure greater than 10 % of total household expenditure or income is 17.3%.
