RESPIRATORY FAILURE IN PREGNANCY

Abstract


Abstract : Pneumonia with respiratory failure in pregnancy is
associated with poor maternal and foetal outcome. Here we
present a case of pneumonia in pregnancy treated with
mechanical ventilation. With appropriate ventilatory support
she delivered an alive healthy baby and she recovered
completely after 5 days of ventilator support.
