A case of primary hyperparathyroidsm with generalised osteosclerosis - a rare association.
Abstract
Osteosclerosis in adults with primary hyperparathyroidsm
is rare.The usual
skeletal manifestations when present,is
diffuse osteopenia.We describe a patient
with generalised osteosclerosis in association
with primary Hyperparathyroidism.
The findings are documented by
conventional radoigraphy, bone scan and
histological examination of bone.Other
conditions producing diffuse osteosclerosis
were excluded by investigations.The
unique features are contrasted with the
manifestations in patients with primary
Hyperparathyroidsm in literature.
