Sruti Mary Joseph Joseph .

Abstract

Malakoplakia, is an uncommon chronic granulomatous inflammatory condition, which predominantly affects the    urinary tract, followed by other organs like testis and  epididymis. Malakoplakia of testis accounts for less than 12% of all the cases.(1)The lesion mainly occurs in middle aged men and they present clinically as epididymo-orchitis or  testicular enlargement with a fibrous consistency, the latter can mimic a malignancy. Here we present a case of   testicular malakoplakia in a 50- year old male patient .
