Abstract


Abstract

Varicella zoster virus infections are common in children and most recover without complications. Myopericarditis  leading to complete heart block is an uncommon but serious complication of varicella zoster virus infection and may lead to severe morbidity and mortality. This article gives a overview of various reversible causes of complete heart block and prevent premature implantation of pacemaker.
