Annular Lichen Planus - A Rare Variant of Lichen Planus
Abstract
Lichen planus is an idiopathic chronic inflammatory disease that affects skin and mucous membranes. The term “Lichen planus” was coined by “Eramus Wilson”. Classical LP – Characterised by pruritic, purple, polygonal flat topped papules and plaques over extremities. Annular LP is a variant of Lichen planus that is uncommon in occurrence. It commonly involves the male genitalia. Here we report a case of 60 year old female with multiple anular LP over extremities.
