Anaesthetic management of a case of a large tracheoesophageal fistula for tracheoesophageal fistula repair and gastric bypass
Abstract
Acquired tracheoesophageal fistulae are commonly due to malignancy. The case presented below reveals an approach that provides adequate oxygenation,ventilation surgical access and postoperative analgesia with an excellent outcome.
