Abstract    

Takayasu arteritis is a well known, yet a rare form of large vessel vasculitis, most commonly affecting young females in a ratio of 9:1 (F:M). This case is presented here for its rare   occurrence in a young male & also a highlight is thrown on its extensive diagnostic modalities & its clinical management.
