Interesting Case of Viper Snake Bite Causing Inferior Wall Myocardial Infarction
Abstract
Acute inferior wall myocardial infarction caused by
Russel’s viper is a rare complication of snake bite with few
cases being reported , we here report a case of 44 year
old male patient who developed inferior wall myocardial
infarction few hours after snake bite. Patient had no risk
factors for coronary artery disease and the coronary
arteries were normal on cardiac catheterization.
