An interesting case of Goldenhar syndrome

Abstract


A 1 year 3 month old girl, 2nd born to III degree consanguineous parentage, with history of surgery for a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), cleft lip and palate in the past, was admitted for management of a parietal wall abscess. She was developmentally normal except for isolated speech delay. On clinical examination, she was found to have dysmorphism which fit the phenotype of Goldenhar syndrome.
