Mercury dermatitis a case report

Abstract


A twenty three year old female presented with burning sensation and erythematous plaques over the inner aspect of the thighs and popliteal fossae involving both sides. She had an accidental spill of mercury while making mercury balls following which she developed dermatitis. Mercury as tablet form is available to store grains. We did quantitative analysis of mercury in the tablet as well as in the stored grains.
