Abstract

Background- Menstruation is a normal physiological process and menstrual hygiene is fundamental to the health and well being of girls and women. Due to the stigma attached to menstruation and the various social factors that hinder the adoption of hygienic practices as well as limited access to the right information, the levels of knowledge practices of menstrual hygiene are generally low in India.
