An artifact that cause confusion

Abstract


Here in the presented case a transportation artifact (bleeding wound in the back of the head in a suicidal hanging) and the environment where the crime occur, mislead the investigation of a police officer. The confusion in this case was solved by crime scene inspection and a proper postmortem examination.
