A RARE CASE OF UNILATERAL MIXED SCLEROSING DYSPLASIA OF BONE
Abstract
Sclerosing bone dysplasias like melorheostosis, osteopathia striata and osteopoikilosis
have distinctive radiologic features .In rare instances there might be a co-occurence of these
disorders in a single individual .A 12 year old boy presented with insidious onset of pain and a small
swelling over the right shoulder. As there was no relevant history of trauma and fever it raised clinical
suspicion of an underlying bone pathology.A series of Radiological investigations revealed a rare
variant of mixed sclerosing bone dysplasia.
