Drug Induced Psychosis-A Case Report

Abstract


Psychotic states are manifested by many drugs including cannabis, LSD, Amphetamines,
Phencydidine and chloroquine.Side effect of psychosis for chloroquine was rare.But now,a large
number of reports mention side effects including psychosis,neurosis,seizures and even death due to
over dose. Chloroquine induced Psychosis can manifest variably as affective disorders like mania or
depression. A case of Chloroquine induced Psychosis following administration of chloroquine for
Discoid Lupus Erythematosis(DLE)
