Focus and Scope

University Journal of Nursing Sciences (UJNS) is a peer reviewed, open access jouranal .The journal is published quarterly and covers all areas of Nursing sciences such as Fundamentals Of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, Community health nursing, Psychiatric nursing, Nursing education, Nursing administration, Nursing research and Advanced practice nursing.

This journal is for enterprising nursing professionals who are actively contributing towards evidenced based practice of Nursing. It offers a platform to get connected with the nursing fraternity and share their knowledge, experience and best practices enabling optimum quality of nursing care.

After registering as an author in the journal one can submit their work for publication. Registration can be done online. It is a 5 step process. (Caution: During registration ensure that the author box is checked).

Before registration it is ideal to become member of ORCID. The author on registration to orcid will be assigned an unique ID. The same may be entered in the journal registration form. This not only ensures credibility to the author, but also will help in showcasing their work to a larger audience.

All submissions will be peer reviewed before publishing.

Authors should submit their unpublished original work only.

Peer Review Process

Only original work will be accepted for publication.

All articles will be peer reviewed before publication.

Articles with typographic errors and gramatical errors wount be submitted for review at all. Authors are requested to ensure that their work is error free before submission.

Articles will be submitted for single peer review before publication. The review process will give weightage to:

1. Original work

2. Uniqueness

3. Scientific Relevance to the subject

4. Usual review time would be about 60 days

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
